I would like to encourage all who may be reading this that it is not too late to chase your dream(s). With that being said, I will say what I think is too late. It is too late to say it is too late. It is too late to leave it to someone else. It is too late to pass the idea to a friend. It is too late to give up and hope for another dream to come to pass. It is too late to dream another dream. I say it is too late for all of those things because the idea came to you, the Lord (for the believers reading) has given you that dream or idea for a reason. Surely you do not feel strongly and passionate about this thing for no reason. Surely it is not in you or in your planners and calendars just to take up space. Surely the time you already spent brainstorming and putting things together was not a waste of time, effort and brain space. As many would say, there has to be more to life than this. I would encourage you to think of your dream or dreams in the same vein.
Surely there has to be more to my dream/dreams than this. This being an idea or a chart or a colorful map or a website that is halfway finished. There has to be more because there is more!
As we are already six days into the new year, let us remind ourselves to "Seek first the kingdom and all of these things will be added unto you" - Matthew 6:33. Let us seek the Lord's face more diligently, with the assurance that He will guide us where we need to go. Trusting that He will help us keep our passion and zeal for the dreams and ideas He has given us.
For those who do not identify with the Christian faith, go forward in knowing there is someone out there who loves you more than the people around you and more than you love you. In fact, that person is waiting for you with His arms wide open. He will not force your hand, for He is both patient and kind.
I will leave us with a prayer,
Lord, You are both gracious and kind, and I thank You for that. Would you help me to seek Your face in all I do that I may never lose sight of You. Would You draw me closer to You and help those who have not learned of Your unyielding love to find it and take hold of it. Would You cause me to dream again and would You cause me to trust that it is not too late.
I pray and ask all of these things in Jesus' name,
