Weekly Meditation
This week will be meditating on Psalm 23:1
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." NKJV
Questions to ponder:
Q1: The first three words say “The Lord is…” — what is the Lord? How have you seen Him in your life?
Q2: What is a shepherd? Look it up and read it in this context. Does it deepen the meaning for you?
Q3: Do you find yourself wanting? If so, can you lay it before His feet in surrender?
Q4: Have you done a breath prayer? Breathe in and say “The Lord is my shepherd” breathe out sand say “I shall not want” — breath prayers are amazing and this scripture is one of my favorite scriptures to meditate on in this way.
As we move into this next week, let us stay reminded of our previous scriptures of meditation and have open hearts and minds ready to receive the Lord as our shepherd.
A prayer:
Jesus I thank you for being our shepherd. I thank you for giving us understanding and wisdom for that actually means. I ask that you would open my heart to receive anything you would have for me. I also pray you would help me to see what you may be asking for me to surrender and that I would lay it at your feet. In your name, amen.
