Scripture: Isaiah 53:7 NKJV

⁷ He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.

Q1: Who is He?

Q2: What is oppression? What is Affliction? How do they differ?

Q3: What am I to glean from this?

Lord, thank you for scripture. Thank you that all scripture is God breathed and profitable. I pray and ask that as I meditate on this scripture this week, you would open my eyes to see, that you would open my ears to hear and my spirit to receive. In your son’s name, amen.
