This week I am meditating on Elohim: God. Let's read Genesis 17:7;
"And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you"
Questions to Ponder:
Q1: What is God’s covenant with Abraham? What is God’s covenant with us?
Q2: What does the word everlasting mean? How does that read in this scripture?
Q3: Have we allowed God to be God to us? To our family?
A prayer:
Elohim, thank you. Thank you for choosing me before I made the choice to choose you. Thank you for making a covenant with Abraham and with me. Thank you for being God of the generations. I ask you to come into my life as God fresh and anew and into the lives of my family fresh and anew. I ask that you would help me trust that you are Lord of all. In your son’s name, amen.
